In the US you can still get drafted living overseas and renouncing your citizenship costs a ton in addition to also needing to be kept up on your taxes in order to do it (and from what I understand finding someone in another country familiar with US tax laws isn't easy/cheap). And when you renounce it unless you have a good reason there's a fair chance you will be blacklisted and never be able to visit your relatives again.

Don't think you are the first to attempt fooling the military from escaping having to carry out their required duty.
