Guns and modern weapon in a fantasy world
I read some manga and watch some anime in wich some characthers are showing the use of guns or modern weapons in a fantasy environment or in a fantasy world. Some people gets upset and others not, in some stories they explain it and others not, but probably it was introduced by someone else
What is your toughts about this kind of thing. I can give examples if someone asks.

Well, it's called fantasy for a reason...
Do you mean modern fire arms in a fantasy environment? That sounds pretty much like what Final Fantasy does, but Japanese RPGS are not my cup of tea.

There is, however, an older game that did exactly what you write about: Arcanum. It was actually a combination of Steampunk and classic fantasy elements where you could either choose a technological character who could use firearms, bombs, machines and even cyborgs or a magician.

Here's the game on Steam:

And here's some video showing the gameplay:

I kinda get will be fine with it if there's a reason, I mean with Dungeon and Dragon style games in the US, Dwarves for example have the excuse of normally having steam powered rifles, there's also Steampunk universes as well.

In others, the world is sometimes post-doomsday (A good example is Tower of Fantasy, largely seen as a non-future like game but actually confirms the game is set 500 years from our future and alot has changed)

Heck Xenoblades does a good job with it, while I wont spoil it, their lore gives a hearty reason to why guns still exist as do blades.

its more of a common trope otherwise if they don't have lore, Warcraft for example is entirely fantasy yet guns do exist, as do tesla coil guns, flying machines of special types and giant planetary surface death guns yet its still entirely taking place where energy is rather freaking rare outside of literally lighting magic.
I don't give a flying flamingo.

Well, two of the races are steam tech. The dwarves use gunpowder which they share with himans. One of them is aliens. And once you hit Out world, it gets weird with massive mecha.
A Fantasy world can just have it's own rules , that is the point of such world.

You can just decide that not only guns exist but that armors can be enhanced with magics to enable them to stop bullets.

It's magic , you don't need anything to be realistic or properly explained.

i think its also depend of the author because i remember in some mangas even magic has a set of rules or the authors of certain stories make an explanation about the functions of magic or magic system.
