what's the deal with "escape rooms"?

All the escape rooms I've been in have had like actual drywall uh... walls, so if you broke down any of those, they'd probably bill you for the repairs. Also just do the puzzles, work your mind, it's the most important muscle of all.

I mean... if they put me in a room and told me "escape from the room" then went "oh we aren't happy with how you escaped from the room so you have to pay for the walls"... I mean, isn't that the point?

You could just ask to use the bathroom, they'd let you out and you could just be like "Yay, I escaped" but otherwise the way you talk about escape rooms reminds me of the newer Beavis and Butthead episode where they tried one lol
