If you want games stuck on old consoles, look at the Wii U/3DS virtual console. So many classic games are now going to become a lot harder to play legally without spending a pretty penny. Megaman &Bass for example, your only means of playing it is through hunting down a GBA copy of it. Same for the DS AC, pretty much any of the previous pokemon games (aka the only ones actually worth playing really)
Sony/Xbox are super cool with keeping their ps3/360 stores up, making a lot of their games still relatively easy to access legally (especially with Xbox thanks to their backwards compatible stuff)
Most PS2 games are DRM-free and easy to dump with most DVD drives. Also most play decently even on low-end PCs now.
OG XBox games, on the other hand, are the exact opposite. Ffs, why Micro$oft choose Midtown Madness 3 as the XBox' exclusive launch title?!

Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen PS1 Edition The godfather of Tactics Ogre and FFT. More complicated than both games, better than both games, but real time strategy. Because it was RTS and because of the limited releases, it never got enough traction in the US, but the game is MORE than a masterpiece.

Breath of Fire 3 Come on really Capcom? With all the re-releases this has got to be a no brainer. Why was this series put on mobile? Ya'll are crazy over there.

Bloody Roar PS1 So much potential wasted.

Also, like, why in the heck hasn't little Samson been ported off of the N.E.S. I mean, sure, it might not have been commercially successful on initial release, but that's common for end of lifecycle console games, and there is clearly a demand for it now even if there wasn't back then.
Also, Pocky & Rocky 2.
To be fair, you have to specify the original playstation edition since that was a remake of a Super Famicom game, which (to be fair, much like Ratchet and Clank) kind of brings into question as to whether or not games which had any remakes should really count or not.
very weird tbh when theres 3000 other games to work on more
It never crossed my mind since PC-98 Touhou has always been really weird in terms of releases. Only available through doujin markets/cons, the physicals now being extremely expensive, it was never that available of a series until th6 broke through in popularity. Doujin series by nature are very limited in their releases if you don't upload them digitally through steam/other online markets.
