Men: Sitting on the toilet to wee rather than standing up to wee ?

I have just done some of my daily read of nonsense on the internet and for what ever reason, I have come across many articles in regards men who sit down on the toilet to have wee/pee instead of just weeing standing up.

Reading more into it, it seems many guys sit down to take a wee. Many reasons crop up such as saying it's healthier for your bladder as it empties more. Plus you don't get wee everywhere like on the seat, the back and side of the toilet like you would standing up (depending on ones aim).

To be honest lads, im not sure about this one, it would feel a little alien for me to change after all these decades. I might give it a try later, I say might

Dunno bout that but it's healthier to squat when you take a dump rather than sitting. Just don't slip off the toilet if you try that cause it could get messy

Pee on the seat is not from aim. It's from splashing.

Sitting at home is just more sanitary IMO.

Tbh.. the only time I sit while doing number 1, is if I'm doing number 2 at the same time. Otherwise it's stand. Although I very rarely make a mess, and if I do I clean it up before I leave.

Well saying toilet breaks are a private affair, no one would know if you stand up or sit down. But when at work tho, better to stand next to your work colleague weeing into the urine while making jokes.

Saying that, I have a mate who's wife goes mental if he leaves the seat up. I feel sorry for him but that's his problem.

Yeah.. but it's a lot easier to quickly go zip down, pee, zip up leave than messing about undoing your belt, undoing trousers and sitting in my opinion. It's not about what others think, but more, convenience.

i'm not really interested in your fixation with bathroom conduct. but I will say one thing

if you can't aim, or your plumbing can't form a laminar flow, you sit down, and don't be a mangy animal.

I don't think you should judge guys that sit down, unless you want your facilities bathed in urine.

Try having a mother like that, most of my child hood was: You left the seat up! Put it down!!!

As an adult, it's just pure habit and I always put seat and lid down after every toilet usage, I accidentally even - without thinking - once told a women to put the toilet seat lid down after she had used the toilet and left it up.............. That's when I realised just how much my mother had messed with my head!

And if you live with a woman mad about putting the toilet seat down or not, that's just something we need to stop as a society. Society has said women have the right to be upset about this, but it's nothing to be upset about.

It should no longer be socially acceptable for women to be mad at men over this. This is my Me Too movement.
