Why is that place still popular in 2023?

It takes about 3 meals to make me full and that would cost $40. McValue bundle targeted for family is a scam.

I can barely feel anything after eating a fish or big mac meal that doesn't taste like a food and it gross me out knowing I still feel empty. It also gross me out seeing full of high school teenagers running things in there. I just don't trust them.

Whereas, a typical $9 greasy thick meal from a local burger or a kebab joint will instantly make me satisfied and bloated. I know for a small family business, it is important to make the food to their highest standard to keep their place afloat.

So, if I wanted to destroy my guts, it would be from a burger, kebab or a pizza joint.

Yet, every time I drive or walk past McDonalds, it is always packed and the drive thru always have 5+ cars in there. WTF? They truly must have an awful taste.

I think it's popular because the kids who love Mcdonald back then are now adults. So it's part of the culture and lifestyle to just buy it when they can't decide on what to eat.

Back then adults don't buy Mcdonalds, they buy proper food which taste better and is healthier.

McDonald meals used to be $4 and now they want $12. It's a scalper approach. A kitchen without chefs, just part time students heating up food and you want to compete price with proper restaurants.. how dare you!

Because McDonalds is the last resort of fast food places.

It isn't that good, and there's no reason to go there over anywhere else, but if you're desperate for something to eat and nothing else is around there's almost guaranteed a McDonalds nearby.

It has gotten for expensive to the point where it’s not worth it. Sure… groceries are expensive as well but you get more in bulk and volume. I can buy bread, meat of my choice, cheese, head of lettuce, a couple of tomatoes, and mayonnaise; I can make my own sandwich that could last me a whilst until I get paid again.

^This was a tactic I used when I was away from my parents for 3 years.

I can tell people who frequent McDonald's by their smell. You know that weird ' cheesy ' funky smell that comes from McDonald's refuse skips on a hot day, yeah, their breath / armpit / nether regions all start to give off that same odor it's rank.

Dunno about you, but in my country mcdonald local menu is a bit cheaper than usual food stall. With better hygiene. While pizza is more expensive.

It's not healthy but beggar can't really choose.

I haven't been to a McDonald's for a decade now. The local restaurant left and later it a Subway took it's place then today there is a nationwide pizza place there. If I want Macca's I have to drove to one of the nearest ones in other towns. I am not doing that in this economy. I miss McDonald's, just a bit. :/
