Pizza is boring.

If you get crappy Pizza.

The big chains are always just kind of bleh. But you got an awesome very small local chain or a mom and pop pizza place, and you can get some awesome stuff that is quite exciting to put into your face hole.

The biased video of Italian moms judging other Italian mom's pizza and my own experience in the tourist trap of a country?

I don't care, f**k that video.

Tell me, what kind of pizza that's best for your tastes? Your 10/10 pizza? Just tell me. So I know I don't waste my time arguing with an American.
Crispy crust. More thin than not.
Puffed up airy crust with multiple bubbles and a couple big ones. Minor charring that doesn't taste burnt.
Tomato Sauce with a oregano and basil flavor. A hint of sweetness you can still taste through everything. Bonus points if you know how to use anchovies in your tomato sauce.
A salty buttery cheese that doesn't taste like cheese. Mozzerella. No Parm.
Basil at most for topping.
I shouldn't be able to see oil or it dripping off the pizza.

I am out of some of the key ingredients. Another store run is in order soon.

I will post pictures of what home-made healthy pizza could be like.

And you decide...

Italians make the worst pizza I've seen in my life. And when I went, it was disgusting overpriced bread with cheese and the tiniest flavorless sauce.

First, taste is highly subjective.

Second, and most important, American versions of other ethnic foods are often modified or different due to many reasons, but with the result of differing considerably or being standalone originals.
American versions of other ethnicities food is that ethnicity's food. It's immigrants. Just like in America, even in your countries people cook them differently from household to household. This nonsense is old and it's time for a reality check. I can go to your house and get something and go to the next house and get the same meal, cooked differently.

Stop. You're not right about American food. American food is great. We do Pizzas great. We have multiple versions of pizza and there are fans of all kinds.

Italy has the worst pizza I've ever had. I've been to both.

Unlike you all, we take pride in our immigrants and their culture. I can go to an Indian restaurant, a German restaurant, a Ethiopian restaurant, a Peruvian restaurant.

It's all ethnically accurate. Stop hating.

I can get a schnitzel. I can get a samosa and vindaloo chicken. I can get tibs. I can get Chicha Morada. It's all authentic.

Hmm, I confirm you have a good taste that the Italians would approve. You got the crust absolutely spot on.

But apart from anchovies, no, forget that sh*t. A big FAIL.

The tomato sauce must be real high quality tomato passata, not cheap tomato like some cheap pizzas have. The dough is very important, must be fresh.

Cheese, you got that correct. But not too much of it. Sprinkle with a bit of herbs (oregano / basil), then that's a good proper pizza. =)
And here is the italian problem. Flavorless sauce and you top the pizza with raw seasoning.

Well, I have to disagree here. But hey ho, everybody has different tastes.

In my experience when I visited America and ate their pizzas. I often found that there is TOO MUCH cheese and the tomato sauce at the base is gross.

But really good burgers and hotdogs, oh man, you got them spot on.
You're literally saying it's based on fresh tomatoes, which are seasonal or canned. That's your sauce. And you don't recognize anchovies place in sauce, meaning either you're too ignorant to realize how prevalent that actually is or you think it makes the sauce fishy. You're also putting raw seasoning on top of a pizza instead of making it in the sauce where it is more distributed and not as strong. That makes me think that your seasonings aren't even fresh.

Nope, you got that wrong. Very wrong.

For a margherita pizza, you're supposed to finish it off with a little sprinkle of herbs (not too much). Not in the bloody tomato sauce! That's just crazy.
Italians put anchovies in tomato sauce too. You asked me to qualify for my opinion. I did, by your own admission. I didn't ask you, but you failed when you didn't know anchovies are in quality tomato sauce.

They are "ethnic American", not exactly 100% from the country of origin.

And independently of semantics, taste is still subjective, and you not liking Italian pizza is an opinion, not a fact, so maybe you do not like that Italian pizza, but others do.

WRONG.

They don't put anchovies in it.
