Having two eyes enables you to have full and proper depth perception, in addition to also being a good spare should an eye fail.

It also enables you to take in greater detail and a whole host of other reasons :-).

How the brain processes binocular optical nerve impulses is, indeed, very weird.

It's why images in mirrors are flipped left-to-right but not top-to-bottom.

The eyes are weird . I have no explanation for vision, nor want anything to do with vision research. The whole thing makes me uneasy. I'd rather research the universe than vision.

It's actually opposite. Eyes are moving further apart.

Bok boks are superior. They can see the world at see 300 degrees. They have 4 types of cones that let them see red, blue, and green light, as well as ultraviolet light.

Compare to boks we are semi blind.
