Never was good enough at SRPGs to recommend any. I like them for a few battles but then they get way too hard for me.
The 2020 Like a Dragon especially was instant top 10 for me. There are many good mentions here, but that's a glaring omission imo.
My love for 8 is largely personal. It's by no means a flawless masterpiece, but it was pretty much like it was made for me specifically. In one title, it defied conventions, made fun of emos and people who take themselves too seriously, pinched exactly the nerve I needed pinched, put a totally different spin on the conventional maturation story, and loaded up on so much cheese I couldn't help but love it. I mean, the gunblade says it all. It makes so little sense that it's hilarious, but the whole story stays straight-faced about it from start to finish.
So I can get why a lot of people didn't like it, but for me it was like a glove.
