What is the best brand of taco seasoning in the United States?
My wife has been using McCormick. I suggested Old El Paso.

I prefer to make my own, but Old El Paso isn't bad.
I just use chili powder, garlic, onion and cumin when I make taco/burrito meat, and typically use ground sirloin verses plain ground beef.
What ever that is on Sale, or at the 99 Cent Store or Dollar Tree.
My wife makes her own. It's mostly cumin and cayenne I think.
Penzys has a good one, also Lawry's

Taco Bell seasoning. It's pretty good if you use 90/10 beef or Turkey.
McCormick is definitely the best, but you can easily make it yourself. And to get it even cheaper than you realize, visit an Asian or Indian market.

I like Old El Paso. Though I've been mixing it with Ortega (or Kinders (also rly good)). Though mainly add paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, and some sesame Oil at least. If I have them I'll also add some dry chicken season mix and Susie Q seasoning. Only thing I cook that I get requested for more. (Which I'll be doing later today, heh) (With the exception of the taco seasoning, the rest is added when cookin the meat and letting it soak in while it cooks)
