Should have made Siege 2. Possibly a huge waste of money for Ubisoft, the project is likely to hang after 6 months.

Siege is where there money is. It has a massive fanbase just waiting to be tapped-into; as long as it's not made into a zombie game.

not generic, it has unique mechanics. unique weapon attachment. unique game modes.

Such as? Because all I see is just different mechanics from other games, tweaked, and mixed together. But hey if you firmly believe is somewhat a novelty, then more power to you and have fun.

time to kill, the maps design, the movement, were perfect no other game can do it at the same level as Xdefiant.

Escort isn't unique, not even close. Overwatch, Team Fortress and dozens of other games have had it going back decades.

Attachments and abilities aren't unique either, you obviously have very little actual game experience if any of these things are new to you.

XDefiant isn't even trying to compete with COD; it's going up against Apex Legends, Overwatch, Valorant and Team Fortress, those are the game it's copying from.

There is already enough on the market all ready for the moment, something like:

Battlefield
Call of Duty
Overwatch
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Valorant

Apex Legends
Escape from Tarkov
Fortnite
PUBG: Battlegrounds

Guess with flop as quick as it was with For Honor and the Division. Since not on Steam, its probably full of NFT´s and ingame cash shop.

Beside both CS2 and Six Days in Fallujah are coming in a near future. It would be better if Ubisoft stick with Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.

free to play fps is usually full of cheating and generally lifespan is dependent on how long they can keep the critical mass of cheating noobs out of the game. would prevent it from reaching its full potential if they're not dilligent.
