Do you believe humanity as a whole is good or bad?

Personally, I was a believer that humanity were mostly good with a smaller percentage that weren't. I later hated specific people for mistreating me who then got more people to mistreat me who I also hated for mistreating me, but still tolerated, but mostly I just didn't like being mistreated and didn't inherently hate everyone or humanity as a whole. It appeared like I disliked a lot of people but there were so many people disrespecting me, being mean, cruel, and rude, that it took too much energy to hate all of them, so I didn't. Some were milder than others, and some people I liked and it made me sad they were doing the same. Overall I felt very isolated and just didn't like being around others. 2/3rds of my life I very much liked people.

I said I hated someone for abusing me then they went online and posted about their own personal misanthropy pretty much making themselves the centre of how I feel. Do you think I wouldn't recognize something similiar to something I myself said? It's not like trying to argue for what someone else says when they don't admit they did it. They brought up their own personal issues similiar to what I mentioned after I mentioned to bully me. They had a tendency of making everything about themsellves but ironically people saw me that way instead.

I've always felt humans were flawed but I used to try to be tolerant of them anyways. I still manage at times but it takes a huge toll on my mental health, especially when their way of dealing denies me healthy resolution to conflict.

Also, I was the knight. They also mentioned how they were pitied after they avoided me because I had been miserable and pitying myself over personal drama we were both involved in. Which I saw as a personal attack. They were very careful and calculated.

So what do you think? Is humanity good or bad?

A therapist? Not specifically, but I do enjoy and love psychology, have since I was a preteen, and did consider going into criminology or forensics at one point in my life. I also took a work aptitude test that said I would be good for psychology due to my personality. Other than my personal issues which I think are obvious.

it takes a certain type of person to make a profession of being a mortician... tho that type of person is highly scrutinised since past events where they actively contributed to their workload...

Think of it this way, people are willing to make horrible, illness causing food full of artifical dyes, additives, to make all humanity suffer. Then those people can go to get medical treatment and be put into debt for life.

Life saving things can be invented and companies can snatch up the rights to the invention so they can never release it and let people suffer forever endless treatments.

And right now theres countless people trying to brainstorm up ways to add dlc to everything possible in real life to take all your money. And make it so you rent everything own own nothing.

Yes, plenty of ways people like to benefit their own stance. Its difficult for people that actually want to do good to be good when they're not willing to play aggressively or connivingly to beat people who don't limit themselves with ethics and morality. It puts them at a disadvantage and they're forced to take the hits or resort to the same low cunning tactics. I often think that if it wasn't for the weird mix of good and bad that people would be more ruthless to one another. Seeing a neighbor act better often causes their other neighbors to improve themselves by comparison or competition or pain. Or it deflates them into a crying mess, depending on the person.

Neither. Humanity just is. If you want good or bad, look at specific people and their specific actions and pass judgement on that. Humanity as a group is so diverse in its actions that passing any kind of blanket moral judgement is absurd.

I still remember from mcbeth I believe it was, where the movie went on about how him killing someone in sleep was breaking a taboo. And that by doing it, he would never have a good sleep again out of fear/guilt of the same happening to him.

In a sense, don't be ruthless 100% of the time or others might be to you too.

The point being that I love it, too? That someone is a petty enough person to make things i mentioned, liked or hated about themself? Or not the point because its not the one I chose?

Yeah, sure. Because everything revolves around you or others, so I can't talk about anything without it being a personal attack, but when you lot do it to me I'm just insane. Are you friends with them or something? Quit baiting me already. The point was people are capable of working in such professions without being people who like to hurt or murder others. I was on that site before I ever even met them, and they posted pictures of themselves on there multiple times. They started making personal attacks towards me right in front of me and thats how I initially realized they were there. The rest came after. I also don't go there anymore and haven't for years. There are at least 4-5 of them there. They posted pics of 4 of them. I only started posting because they wouldn't stop and did it everywhere I went. They could have known I played that game since 2014.

Humanity gets by. Good and evil are social constructs, sans an objective reference point, like an almighty God who made it all happen.

Thing is, even if people are evil. People are also lazy by nature. Because calories = survive and moving around and doing stuff like crazy burns calories.

So what each person can do, is usually limited by laziness. And pain aversion also promotes not dying, and going after people that fight back all the time is painful.

Its those super motivated evil people to really watch out for. Mean while the rarely acting silent majority slowly cooks the frog, like wellfare handouts until the ship sinks. But hey its free money for us, until that point right? If I'm lucky I'll never see that day, someone elses problem, etc
