What's with people who hold grudges when they lose in games ?

I play fighting games as well as many other genres . Someone will taunt me in game ( tea bag ) for no reason , or make the announcer at character select repeat themselves ( taunt ). I beat them pretty badly and just go on to the next opponent . My previous opponent then resorts making alt accounts , leaving silly outrageous comments on my profile . I respond and just have a laugh enjoying the salt that they have . Same person get's blocked by me after making multiple accounts of people I've never fought leaving similar comments all while being on each other's friends list . Obviously the same person . I block the accounts and 2 MONTHS LATER I get random stupid comments so i check the friends list and they have a low amount of friends ( 20 ) with the same blocked accounts on their friends list. They also delete the previous comments then them as well as others ask " why are you talking to yourself ? " umm they delete the comments .

How can any gamer get that salty ? 2 months later and you're still salty ? You'd think after i blocked them they'd just go find games to play or be with family or something . 2 months later and they're like " I'm gonna go message that one guy who beat me 2 months ago because I'm still upset i lost " . What's with the grudges ? Do you guys really hold grudges this long ???

Some peoples just have issues and take games way too seriously because it's the only thing they have left in their miserable life.

Yeah, you wouldn't be so bad if you didn't make people fight you in a phone booth!

The conundrum with raging in single player is that you generally can't rely on conventional rage tactics.

You can't call the CPUs stupid because, well, they are.
You can't threaten to hurt or kill them, because that was the plan even when you weren't mad.
You can't insult their ethics or character (eg "you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥") because well, they're trying to blow up the world or whatever.

So you're really kind of stuck.

I'll never understand these peoples because i've been a gamer my whole life and i don't react to loss like that ♥♥♥♥, just like peoples punching their screens like what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with you?

They are immature. They think that their perceived lack of skill in a videogame reflects on then as a person and they don't like it, so they lash out.

Some people get ahead on their own work, skills, and merit.

Others try to get ahead by pulling everyone else down. Scrubs who can't let go of a pvp match and waste time with screechy messages are part of this group.

I could understand if its a rival who talks trash , or even a competitive friend .... but these people are neither lol they just say things like " I'd beat you up in real life " while cursing .
