Some aliens games were okay. The thing for xbox original was scary

I think they could look into the records of phobia for inspiration.
Where your targets are dream warriors and they have to be taken down with trap's and surprise attacks then Finished off before they wake up
i feel like that could be pretty cool maybe different environments that reflect the personality of the guys you're hunting like maybe a guy likes metal so he's got a guitar that blast your with sound and one of the ways to take him down to to pretend to be a groupie it's within Freddie's character that he'd think to do that or maybe trick him into a mosh pit that turns into a mucky mound of flesh and theeth that can chomp him up
or something like maybe the dream warrior gets more lucid and more aware of Freddie and harder to sneak up on and more aggressive but easier to scare
i feel like that could be something special if given the creativity and love

I'd love to see a horror game centered around occultism from the occultist's perspective.
It would probably have to be AO

Mama.
The Ring as well, but focus it around a gradual deconstruction of reality. Like FEAR but more intense.
The games are dead as far as multiplayer (though can probably still set up custom games with friends), but they're still fun solo.
