yea not bad.

I use to love anime. then they stopped using cels and got cheap and ruined the art of it, which was my main draw to the 'hobby'. it was artistically pleasing and unique. Then it became mass produced trash.

I also got tired of the same tropes reused. loner guy seems weird, BUT is really a super cool nice guy and just magically meets this loner 'hot' girl and they just 'get eachother'.. add violence and some drama. boom, anime series.

girls in short skirts. its just tiring and played out. I prefer girls in anime dressed in cool/functional outfits like Iria, etc.

The harem thing is played out. Again usually 1 'loner' misunderstood guy who just happnes to have 3+ girls wanting his 'attention'.. /yawn.

just to many 'samey' tropes. got tired of it. those 2 things killed anime for me around 2001 or so and I just really 'outgrew' it.

there are a couple series i keep in my collection just to keep but i never watch any anime anymore. ever.
