I try to tell young folks to choose wisely because before you know it, you'll have financial obligations, family obligations and can't change jobs because you can't lower your standard of living to start over. After that, you're locked in for life.
Is nice.
That is exactly what I did.
And it was worth it!
Holy sh!t! Just saw this. Well done, Fajita Jim. Both you and Apollo beat me. That's awesome!
It's a fairly "chill" position.
I love my job.
^5 to Kbiz who also clearly has a bunch of it figured out.
Marrying the wrong person could be very expen$ive and kids- those I stone cold refused- and also $aved a fortune on that one alone!
One example of many. He has thousands of talks available on subjects such as this:

The few people I know that don't work - its clear it's had a negative impact on their personality and perspective. Not having obligations or being responsible for anything for too long does make people arrogant, ignorant, and entitled. They grow to expect a cushy life, and to expect others to facilitate that life, financially or otherwise. And because in that freedom they have total control over what they do and who they interact with, never forced to do anything outside their comfort zone or interact with anyone with contradicting opinions, they end up just living in a bubble and surrounding themselves with people just like them, their flaws becoming more pronounced over time. Their characters not just lacking growth, but actually devolving back into a child state. And not the cute kind, the brat kind.
It always clicks when i see someone with an attitude spewing nonsense, and then I find out they don't work. It's like 'Ooofff course!'
