Was just thinking, the stars in the clock level aren't that bad at all but its the camera that makes that level so challenging imo.

So, I will just have to repeat myself in asking: Is Donkey Kong a Mario game? Or does it need Mario in the title, in order to be a Mario game?
If you're not specific, every computer game can be a "Mario game."

The camera is manageable. It's the god-awful controls on the N64 and DS that really get in the way.

Playing the DS version on PC with a proper controller is quite fun.

but I HATEDDDDDDDDDDDD the remake of it on gameboy. I consider it the UGLyification of the game to make it more IP-like. Such as making the plessy dino in the remake go from generic dino to ugly yoshi head.

And splitting up the powers, because you added different characters besides mario just made it more tedius, not fun imo

But I honestly can't say what the best mario game is. Since I've only played up to mario sunshine. Which was okay but it didn't relly feel like a mario game to me.

what are you talking about? theres not a gameboy remake of mario 64.

We are obviously speaking about Mario, the Italian dude in red that happen to be midget and whatever names he had in the past like Jump Man or the fact he was featured in Donkey Kong does count but in no way that means "every computer games" are Mario.
