And well, gmax snorlax was rly something you did not want to mess up with in gen 8 :/

I mean they had the remakes at some point anyway.. I just wanted to play gen2 before they announced the remakes

Change to water type, you can do it in gen 9 once per battle

Yeah but back then I just started on pokemon 🤷

i was given pokemon diamond as gift

And highly doubt most ppl at my age even knew what a gen 2 remake is back then

However ,nothing was rly lost there...

I'm really not, GBA had some of the best games i've played. I enjoyed more games on it than I did the 3ds. The 3ds was mostly just monster hunter, pokemon, and hardly anything else interesting for me. Plus it had gbc games. It also had pokemon emerald, one of the best pokemon games to exist.

Yugioh advanced was so good. And friends on mineral town. and monster rancher advanced was okay. And it could interact with gamecube games I think.

Peak pokemon was ultra sun/moon. But gba era was nothing bad. Emerld, fire red, game cubes games.

The thing is that the GBA has nothing rly to offer comparing to todays consoles...

Gen 2 Pokémon is nowhere near Pokémon in the last 4 gens, there is NO game from the GBA that is any better than their next consoles,

Gen 2 did not even have abilities nor physical/special split mind you

Like GBA has nothing to really make it choose GBA over the 3DS or Switch , is a pointless console

GBA only has value for those who feel a lot of nostalgia over past games (or some Pokémon ROMs), otherwise is pointless console

You most likely grew up as kid with the GBA and that is why you like it, but the console itself has nothing to offer nowadays...

I still remember seeing what the cheese land circuit from Mario kart looked like garbage to what it is now in Mario kart 8
