Interesting opinion you discuss. ;P
But I think people taking things out of context ruin everything for everyone.
The issue with that approach is that the scumbags Muta talks about don't care about the law and have their ways of obtaining illegal weapons. Now I think the bloke in the case example was highly opportunistic, didn't planned the thing (thoroughly) and didn't even had a weapon but his muscles, however a woman in this situation at least would have a chance if she had a weapon to defend herself.
Again, she's very luck it "only" was a kiss.
Guess what? I am screwed. All I can do is either buy pepper spray or throw some hands.
Then again I don't venture outdoors often so I am pretty much safe.
Finland is a safe country, however I am cautious at all times.
And no, I don't have paranoia! You are the one being paranoid!
:)
no, you do not have the same training as an ex-mil or off-duty police officer.
good guy with a gun does not work.
though in personal self-defense situations? sure, M A Y B E.
The streaming community can handle the aftermath of the assault, and get the guy caught... but pepper spray can stop the assault while it's taking place
Pepper spray has blowback.
