I have a couple of ancestors of mine who did. They lived in Illinois, had to drive into Indiana where first cousin marriage was legal. They didn't have kids, so it didn't matter.

Yes, it's why some people address us all as "brothers and sisters". "We are all brothers and sisters".....but not in literal sense, closely blood related.

There are 8 billions people out there. Just find someone that is not "directly" related. You can get generically diseased kids too if you marry one that is too close to your bloodline.
