List of "Woke" games?

I hope it's alright by the mods if we here decide to try and work together to make a list of games and/or game studios that have some symptoms of Wokism/ESG culture, I think it would be great if people knew what to avoid if they don't want anything to do with such, I'll let other people start, to see if people here even care at all.

Naaaaaw, that's half of what this forum does.

Criticism is constructive. "Woke" is a derogatory term which is usually mutually exclusive with constructive criticism and is mostly used in slander and smack talk.

Sure. Don't disagree. Just not exactly what I think of when the term "naming and shaming" is brought up. *Forced* politics in games.

At this point I think every single company has done that so if you want to boycott that you should stop buying literally anything. Because of this reason I prefer to judge the single products, if a product is ok for me then I buy it. Companies will see which product sell and which one don't sell anyway, so...

(IMPORTANT: of course this does NOT work with subscription scams... because you do not get to choose products individually.. so it is obviously much better to avoid subscription scams. If you pay a subscription you automatically support anything they want you to support, keep in mind this)

In the case of videogames, or movies, or things like that, I don't even mind spoilers, I spoiled myself so many different things and it never happened to me that I did not enjoy the product anyway, I have even read the final chapters of Diamond is unbreakable many years before starting to read JoJo but I loved it anyway and it was super exciting anyway. It is very unlikely that something gets ruined for me because of spoilers so I use that often to decide if I'm ok with a product or not before buying it. if I'm not 100% sure I watch the ending, I search info about it, I watch anything or search information about anything that could potentially be problematic for me.

It's easier to compile a list of the games that are NOT woke, since they are way fewer and far inbetween. Just notice, 18+, Mature ratings, games that draw extreme controversy or even find their way to the court somehow, anything that is forbidden in Germany, all that undergoes censorship and changes form before being distributed, games that are banned, games that "different" individuals love to bash and especially nag on them "not having representation", etc.

Of course hundred of reviews going in details and requesting refounds, and hundred of videos in you tube going in details don't matter,. Logical fallacies the left tools, how to shut down criticism dont follow the line.


Just like cybertrash 2077 isnt because the game was the worst game of the year and had myriad of reviews going in details in every aspect how horrible the game was and how most of budget went into marketing to sell a trash of game, blant and basic, with mechanics of the last decade, missing features, buggy, it was the right "bombing" of course.


Majority of negatives reviews on steam going in details, and many in youtube covering from marketing aspect, to missing the most basic aspect of space game traveling in space and in planets instead we have fast traveling, and load screens, which is just one aspect, to being the most bland and basic game in shooting.

Compared to any of the space genres as Star citizen, elite dangerous,eve, x3 and x4 foundations, space engineers, sins of solar empire, this game star field is joke.

If anything the politics of wokeness in gaming is a hint that will tell you that the game would be ♥♥♥♥ 95% of times, because they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ for gamer, their aim is to spin their own studio politics in games, use most of budget for multiple sources of marketing branding, featured in "gaming magazines", bait and switch, and create most basic trash of game, buggy, and make most of money out of it from multiple sources, prepaid DLC, different versions, in game microtrascation, extraordinary prices at 70 etc.

Why would you want a list of woke games? You've played a few yourself so it's a bit odd you care all of a sudden.

Mistakes made in the past, maybe I didn't know about how woke they were when I bought them.

Hear me out: I hate pronouns and seeing them everywhere, but starfield having them in their game makes sense, because it directly affects how characters adress you in game. If starfield was an online only game with limited npcs and you needed to provide your pronouns, that would be woke.

There’s plenty of valid criticism for this game but I don’t think this is one of them.
