Why are deer scared so easily? Just seen this video where they get chased off by a domestic cat.

Deer are much larger and stronger, could've easily trampled or bit that cat, instead scattered scared. I think a moose would've fought the cat.
Thankfully, the cat didn't got hurt, interesting observation still.

And why are deer seemingly intentionally running into cars and cyclists instead of around them?

Deer can actually become quite aggressive, especially during the seasons where they mate and birth their young. A stag (male deer) will run you down and murder you.

The one in the video was a doe with a calf though.

They will however, stare down a multi ton vehicle coming towards them at high speed without fear.

No, deer are instinctive creatures who have the necessary intelligence biologically required for their survival. They are not thinking, logical creatures like 'some' of us humans.

someone told me, Camels fear humans because they think humans are much larger than them.
did you ever get close to one? they are like mini dinosaurs, they are 10 times the size of average human.

So basically, they don't see a small domestic cat but something like a cheetah.
But likewise, at least the cat in the video also has no sense of its size and thinks its like a cheetah.

i think they think they are the same size or smaller than the cat.
when i visited my friends camp, i saw their father with the biggest Camel giving him orders go there sit there do this do that, and that Camel who is the boss of the camels group is 2 times the size of other camels, and my friends father is short.
the Camel think he is even smaller than his owner as my friends told me, and i think its the same for most other animals.

There was a pile of dead deer next to an overpass because they jump without realizing it's a 20 feet drop.

That was standard hunting practice in some places, and not with deer.

Yes.

Most animals are dumb, very dumb... humans just like to project intelligence and higher sentient emotions on animals because they feel it justifies the believing they're all animals.
