Where is the problem with dressing up as anime character? I would do it do way more often if it was cheap, less time consuming and it did not catch everybody attention v:
You have completely failed to understand my topic.
Of course if you go out to countryside outside big cities you don`t see much of it.
Anime is first of all big business with merch related to it. You wont see entire department stores dedicated to anime merch or gaming outside Japan.
Cosplay scene is also business with people buying costumes and accessories with stores dedicated to that and cosplay conventions etc.
It would not surprise me, yeah.
They dislike rowdy tourists in general, not just anime fans so behave yourself, especially in trains.
Pointing out your inaccuracies
Well, first off. I have never said my cousin dresses up as an anime character.
Secondly, according to various statistics, the Japanese still work a hell a lot more than most other nations.
So no, there are no inaccuracies, you are just getting involved once again in something you have no clue about. You probably feel offended because you are an anime fan but dont remotely comprehend my topic.
That is not the point... The point is not all of them work THAT much, is not like almost all just work 24/7, just a considerable amount of them (not a minority btw v:)
And idk why you bring up the cousin... That was not even part of the inaccuracies previously mentioned...

I have never said all of them work that much, but the majority does. Learn how to read people's topics and stop interpreting your own twisted assumptions into everything.
Well, if it wasn't about my cousin I don't see why you mention clothing at all. LOL.
You act extremely confused and weird. Welcome to my ban list.
They consider it dishonorable.
I believe it is the same with the Japanese people. Of course there will be some who will be ultra-conservative, and even some who are xenophobic. Overall I would expect the majority of them to be extremely polite, curious and respectful.
The Japanese themselves are massive Americanophiles. We live in a world where it's funny to troll about atomic bombs, so there will always be those kind of comments, but overall the relationship between Japan & the U.S has never been stronger. Add to that many Japanese and Americans who have inter-married and you can easily see that more unites them than sets them apart from one another.
