minecraft ever go on large sales?

I kind of want to get it, but I have no want to play it imediately, im wondering if it ever goes on sales large enough that I should pay attention to certain times of the year, or is it just 10% off a 30$ game, so who cares when I get it.

It's $30 for both versions of the game instead of $20 each.

Eh I bought it twice before Microsoft acquired Mojang and made the launcher broken (for me on Java edition that is, i never get enough time to install optifine and fix it)

$30 is just fine for minecraft. You'll get plenty of enjoyment out of the game. I doubt there'll be a sale due to how popular it continues to be

I bought Minecraft during beta, it's now transitioned to my Microsoft Account, and I have both Java and Bedrock.
