I have watched them very occasionally.

I think the last one I watched is DR orochi on twitch playing retro games very late in the night.

The first Vtuber I saw is senzawa playing a spongebob 3d platformers, bikini bottom ? That was a while ago.

Only very rarely, when the algorithm drives me there. It skirts too closely to the boundary of fiction and reality to seek out as regular viewing material though. I'd rather just watch a regular video game commentator with somebody at least trying to present as their genuine self, or an anime about the exciting adventures of a more or less wholly fictional character.

I have used to watch them years ago, mainly Vei, Botan, IRyS, and Gura; I have stopped because all that the algorithm was offering me were shorties of those, and me not knowing Japanese meant that watching their live streams was completely out of question, and Vei's live streams were always scheduled at times when I've had different plans.

They were entertaining at first, but after a while of watching, they became sorta boring as it's still the same thing over and over, the same genre of videogames from the same vtuber, and.. I guess that's it.

All the time. I mostly consume for the information, and it's usually documentaries with good narration

I'm a supporting member of a channel called Nookrium who's a vtuber, another for Dragonlance D&D, and other for gardening. I forgot I also enjoy a few in Tokyo doing the walking/biking but don't pay. I also sub to many like Splattercat.

apparently I dont know what a vtuber is.

I don't hate the concept, but execution is a complete miss to me. The static facial expressions, the weird movements, it's just weird to me.

At least some fans made a fighting game based on them, and from what I've seen it doesn't look bad. Should give it a try sometime since it is free
