Sure. Several times.

And what was ur emotion by rejecting someone
you were feeling pride ? you were feeling sad ? you were feeling annoyed ? you were feeling awkward ?

Eventually, you stop caring and realize you have to take care of yourself first. Most of the people "confessing love to you" just want something from you that you may not realize, or be unwilling, to ultimately provide.

No but I was rejected once for saying it to someone whom I'd been with almost a year. It was not the first time I had told her either but it was the straw that broke the camel 's back.

She said I was making her uncomfortable by getting clingy like I was somehow attached to her. She also said that I was boring and she needed to spice up her life by exploring what was out there. Then she advised I do the same and not to get too clingy once I found someone new.

Apparently cuddling up by the fireplace in the evenings was lame when one could be out on the town meeting new people every night.

I swallowed my anger and disappointment while packing my things. I rented a U Haul truck and moved into a storage garage for almost 2 weeks before finding a better place to live.

After that I was felt inadequate and unworthy to be loved for a long time. Almost 2 years went by before I worked up the nerve to try again. I promised myself I would never get personally attached again.

Then I met my future wife and it lasted almost 12 years and again I was rejected for being too lame and boring. :steamsad:

you shouldnt have lost the interest for love , coz of one person personal thoughts , saying you were boring , maybe actually u werent , she said that in purpose to avoid you maybe . to let you give up

u will never know how a person actually thinks in their minds, , just dont let an one single person affect you

I've rejected a bunch of people, but not because I didn't want to be with them. It's just that I don't think I can handle love relationships. So it felt really sad/miserable.

I wasn't aware I rejected a girl who also was bullied like I was and she had a crush on me. Her message flew over my head. Or maybe she changed her mind when she asked to borrow my notebook for the second time. She wrote a confession on it. (o_o)

Anyway last time I heard she has clinical depression. My mum said I dodged a bullet. Heck she told me to not get into a relationship in high school. How do I know my mum knows she has depression? She had her as a patient at the local hospital. Talk about depressing news. (O_O)

Yes, a woman I was seeing said she loved me and I broke up with her over it. It was soon into dating and I really got the vibe that she would be into anyone that she was with.

I like being loved, but I like being loved for being me more. I don't like being loved just because I'm there.

How did I feel over it? Well, with this one in particular we worked together so I did feel guilty that she had to see me everyday. I did put in effort to make her comfortable and make sure that I valued her as a person and coworker even if we weren't dating.

I think many people dont know what love is and just toss around the term like a football.

That just sounds silly...

She has diagnosed depresion so what? :steambored:

Also , professionals should NEVER talk about other patients (specifically mentioning who that person is) even to family members... :steambored:

My mum was just overprotective. Nothing I could do about it back then.

Yeah that might be a violation of the hospital's policies.
