Original GTA SAN ANDREAS

How do I get a legit copy of the original Gta San Andreas? I saw a mod for it that puts Mario 64 in it (the mod: https://github.com/headshot2017/sm64-san-andreas) but when i saw on steam that they deleted it. (I dont want to use a disc)

Why would you not want a disk if you want the old game? Then you have it in your collection and can make an ISO image to have forever. Sounds sus to me.

because 1. im an idiot and i dont know how to mod the game on a disk and 2. I dont want to find one off of amazon or ebay

I referred to The Cutting Room Floor and the PC Gaming Wiki to determine which version to get.

Needless to say, thanks to Rockstar, the only proper way to get the original release of San Andreas nowadays is either through Rockstar's site or by getting a physical copy.

You can rip your own disc and never have to touch the physical version of it again. That's perfect legal.
