Whats the most money you've ever gambled on?
Or the most valuable virtual good.

I went to this local casino once a couple of weeks after my 21st birthday. I only gambled a few dollars away only for me to gamble it back. I took it as a sign to stop and never gambled again.

No gamble, irl or virtual.
I gambled $50 on a cruise ship. Lost.

I'm not totally sure the question. I assume you're asking the highest amount risked, not the highest amount won.
I've not risked much in one try (mostly played slots). Maybe like 2-3 dollars a pull (maybe 200-300 in a night).
Most I've won? like 1500 bucks out of one machine in one night of gambling.

I've never won/bet anything significant from card games, roulette, sports betting etc.

Probably 10,-€. I´m not really into gambling or playing for much money. In some cards game it was about 2,-€, because You have to place something, and it was usually in 10 cent steps. But that´s more symbolic - and in fact i don´t like card games. It´s always bad, when You have one friend, who knows every card, and when which was played - so he can guess what everyone most likely has on his hands...

Else i was more into bets - and these were about a package of cigarettes with friends.
I don't gamble for big money, Sashie. You better know full well you're not the sucker before betting big.

Investing is where it's at. Invest, don't gamble, Sashie.

That said, I once rolled 27 non-sevens at the Craps table. I was a god. Everyone loved me. I took a chance and I did the most improbable thing. Even tiny probabilities have a chance of happening. Sooo fun.

I’ll just say 50 cents.

Do I do so anymore? Of course not.

Also I’ve gambled pretty little, some would say for all the time out in Vegas.

Gambling isn’t smart
Many things people do are not "smart"

Doing illogical, irrational, and selfish things is part of the tapestry of human existence. One just needs to balance the things that are smart with things that aren't smart.

I don't usually gamble however I technically gambled on a charity event that was in relations to "Save the Kids" by Blvgari. I actually won something from it but it was more for charity than gambling.
$0, none, nada, zilch. I don't like gambling IRL neither in videogames / virtual "goods". Different strokes for different folks.

Yeah alright

Wouldn’t tell that to 19 year olds on here.
Why not?
My 10 year old niece understands these concepts. I'd expect 19 year olds to, as well.

If i'm not mistaken Valve closed down multiple gambling sites about CSGO skins a few years ago, dunno if they've search and found others like that in regards to TF2 & Dota 2.

Edit: Found an article from Polygon:

It was back in 2016 that Valve closed down those CSGO gambling sites, I don't know much about the TF2 & Dota 2 communities in general, so probably they shouldn't have those type of sites.

Edit 2: Nvm it seems they did a crackdown on TF2 gambling sites back to 2017.

"Item Trading
January 27, 2017 - TF2 Team

In July of last year we outlined our position on gambling web sites, specifically noting that Valve has no business relationship with these sites. At that time we also began blocking many CSGO gambling accounts. You can view the original post here.

More recently, some gambling web sites started leveraging TF2 items. Today we began the process of blocking TF2 gambling accounts as well. We recommend you don't trade with these sites."

Think about this, people. The odds of rolling a 7 with two (2) 2d6's is 1 in 6. Okay, uncommon. But what are the odds of not rolling it a 7 27 times in a row? It is truly rare.

The answer is (1 - 1/6)^27.

I am mentally trying to piece that together with the law of independent events.

We(most of us) know that different numbers are going to have very different chances of forming and when it's laid out as a visual with D6's it becomes very telling.
