Personally I think they're a well balanced food. It's the chips and sugary soda pop that will kill you.

Lots of great döner and burger places where I live. They are using good meats and self made bread.

Same here, used to know one who was extremely nitpicky when it came to ingredients, only fresh vegetable, top quality meat and bread. That was pretty much the only place where I could eat kebabs without feeling sick afterward.

But yeah still a lot with cola and fries.
You need around 2,400 calories per day though - if You don´t do much, like having an office job. Of course one could easily get that with drinking cola all day.
