Fun fact, prior to the cartoon, Superman couldn't fly. He could only "leap tall buildings in a single bound." But the animators thought his high jumps looked silly, so they gave him the ability to fly.

It's said that my brother loved this show as a baby/toddler. He would hear the music and come crawling as fast as he could. One time he was in a baby swing just around a corner from the TV , and he starts straining trying to stretch his little head to see around the corner.

The suspicion is that it was the music that caught his attention.
