What have you done to prepare or does prepping seem too difficult and useless?

If you eat your prep food when it gets closer to expiring and get more. Its not really a bad idea, since your prepared for bad times and not wasting much.

I think it’s a cool thing to have a bunker a bunch of guns and whatever and you can like use it as a man cave. It’s just that there’s like the crazy ones . And I haven’t done anything to prep

as someone who didn't grow up in a country where a daily trip to the shop is customary it's always been pretty standard to buy about a weeks worth of food at a time and have a supply of canned goods in case of a power outage...

"preppers" are silly tho... stockpiling all those canned goods with like a 3 years shelf life so they can eat old canned beans in the event society collapses and everyone else comes after their expired canned beans...

idk about you, but I'd go for the farms and orchards before the expired canned beans... and protect mine.

why would you go for wheat? you have to process that...

Depends on how far you go with it. Having a "buffer" or reserves of food to last a couple weeks, not an issue. Buying ammunition by the thousands of rounds to save money on bulk discounts, not an issue. But build dressing up for a "zombie apocalypse" is just cosplay by a different name, which a lot of "preppers" tend to be. Many are very prone to latching onto fearmongering in desperate hopes catastrophic events happen just so they can show their families they didn't waste tens of thousands of dollars on nothing.

I think there's levels to it but I think generally speaking having a plan for when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan is always a good idea even if it's just as simple as keeping non-perishable food somewhere and plus basements and fallout shelters are multi purpose so if you have the time and money to build one, turn it into a man cave. Hangout space everyday, shelter in case of an emergency. It's a win win.

I can`t survive without civilization anyway so it`s pointless to hoard stuff.

Hurricanes
etc

Having 3 months supply of food and water. Having cash at home for when banks/ATMs aren't available. Something to defend yourself.

Riots/Looting happens during emergencies. Protect yourself and your family.
