Funny though USA and it's co' never called Korean War a war, it was called a special operation.

You have to choose a propaganda narrative that works, clearly the entire story about Russia being a threat was a fiction used to drum up war because he didn't have the army to invade europe. So the pretext for inciting the war in the Ukraine by the west is even more irresponsible, it was only planned by your side, you made it happen, so enjoy the dead. The psychotic western liberal is a nihilist longing for nuclear war to end their suffering. Its why the projection, its become clear its not Iran or Russia who would be glad for a nuclear holocaust, the west hates humanity, to exterminate people would be good for mother earth, this is the true psychology behind their motivations.

As long as war is going on, noone wins. Ukraine is pushing first Russian defence lines as a part of their counter offensive but they make very, very slow progress because Russians dug trenches and pretty much plowed every meter of ground with mines, plus they constantly attack regions deeper in the country to kill some civilians and stop grain from being transported through the sea by blockade.
This changes pretty much everyday, Ukrainians make solid progress = "war will end next year", they slow down = "war will take 2-3 more years". Maybe one random day Putin will say stop and call army off, or someone will revolt in Russia? No war has an "end" date. We can only watch and hope it does end soon.
It's an endless tug of war currently. Invaders want to annex territories, defenders are aggressively defending their homes.
It could be. Putin's generals were convinced it would be over in a few weeks. It's a lot like when generals said with WWI; "It'll be over before Christmas!". And look how long that lasted.

Neither side. Russia has gained nothing from the war, and lost a lot, and same for Ukraine. Russia still control 20% of Ukraine and Ukraine's counteroffensive has failed so far.
Is it one of those wars that will drag on for years?
100% yes. Even if by some magic Putin gets replaced, the new guy will be WORSE, not better. Neither side will back down.
