But he's still going to remain public because he's the "chief of creative" or whatever kind of title they made up.
Yup. This, uh... employee, was (and probably may still be) the most likable.
Not only was that cringy but they were shamelessly shilling for renewables by spreading information we know isn't true. Which further drives my point I made earlier that these big tech channels are little more than paid advertisement for corporate interests.
Are you so deep into the tech investment that you have to buy all tech or the industry will collapse.
When you look at these channels nowadays I feel like Gamers nexus is the only one that has stayed humble and true to its roots, you can see it in how they convey useful information to people and treat the community, it really boils down to Steve and his team being amazing. Marques well MKBHD you can still see that initial in depth style reviews that he used to do with certain small details that others completely missed in pointing out but it feels like there's something very corporate going on with there decision making and same with Linus for a long time, not saying it's all bad content but try and compare an up and coming Optimum Tech video to a Linus video and you'll see what I mean.
It's just not surprising that when you grow to the level that Linus has you end up being the bad guy but I feel like it's what he wanted from the get go in that he was just after the bottom line.
none specifically. i didn't really felt attached to one or the other for that matter.
i stick to what i said to that other thread about this, i still haven't seen a tech channel that will present a pov about tech and how to handle it that is not already known somehow.
Did get some respect for Gamers Nexus, though. Glad to see someone with the right priorities.
I forgot their names, but there are two Englishmen who uploaded PC builds alongside guides in such long and detailed videos.
