GN, JTC, and DDTS are the three I watched the most to catch up on tech before building my last PC.
I like that dude. He does indeed know everything. Has kind of long hair, works at LTT. Anthony, I think his name is.
https://youtu.be/b-owBhLGaH4
its really wierd to me how he created a corporation off an amateur youtube pc enthusiast channel but ok, he's charismatic. great.
i do appreciate some of the things he did back in the day, like the various pc tests that he's done, etc.
but for him to try to criticize someone else who has a background in engineering/programming/ or other computer science based education, its like an ant trying to shove an elephant.
this whole 'omg linus isn't actually that good' controversy is ... really not news to me. i mean... he's stayed at the same level in his builds as day one honestly, and its not a mystical thing to be able to plug your pc parts together. i figured there were pros behind him - and we see that there are.
i'm not sure why people were expecting him to be a pro. he's a successful enthusiast, but thats it.
this other allegations, not sure where those are coming from. he better not have been involved in that stuff, but that's his journey.
what about my calling out linus tech tips? cuz linus is just a face of a brand and it's a whole team of tech journalists who get all the new hardware thrown at them
And a Tweet...

Linus should stop being so public now that he hired a CEO, like most of the "apology" video, where he went on a short rant again.
Maybe he should have retired...
meanwhile everyone who is loyal thinks he's sitting around approving every decision anyone makes... the most he would do anymore is strongly advise they do something differently... as he has no actual control over the brand anymore.
hilarious you need some radical tech journalist to realise this.
He stopped being CEO last month. Most of this crap (Especially the Madison stuff) happened under his leadership. His video on stepping down from CEO happened at a really odd time, May this year. Around when Madison left.

"I actually tried to steal the $30,000 SSD server for my girlfriend... but someone caught me..."
he literally says "so I bought it back"... so at one point he had just taken a ****** $30,000 piece of hardware for personal use!!!
Gigachads watch Level1 Techs.
