Mexican/Cali Hass Avocado vs Any Other Cado
Why are mexican/california avocados so creamy and peruvian/argentinian ones so watery?

Just the other day I had a beautiful mexican hass cado, my lord it was like eating butter. Then I had to use this peruvian one. Full of "juice" but its really just watery.

Is it the soil? What is it?!

Given the location of each, probably a time in transit issue, assuming you live in the US

Yeah I mean it's not like you have a choice unless you go full Karen and call each store to see where their avocadoes come from.
There are 572 varieties of Avocado, perhaps you aren't comparing the same variety ?

Do people not get grocery fliers? How do you know whats on sale at your local grocery?

I do have a choice tho, they advertise mexican hass avocados at my local grocery store and otherwise they don't say mexican means its peruvian means nooooo good.

I imagine they all come from the same place, more or less.

since I'm in canada and the avacados need to travel across the continent to get here, and there's pretty much only 3 grocery chains in the country and they're all in cahoots...

Depends on what brand it is / how they look. The organic ones are always in bags and thats how they get you. I will buy a bag of 4 organics if the non organics are all too soft tho
