Has someone who eats meat the right to lecture other people about animal-welfare related stuff

And I'm not talking about the folks who tend to hunt their own food and eat it, which I respect.
I'm rather talking about the average Joe in the Western World who insist on eating meat because of the sake of it. You know the type. "I MAN CAUSE I EAT MEAT". *grunt* *grunt*
Or the "I love cats and dogs type, but I also love to shove down 100 pounds of meat a week down my gullet"-type

So do "these" people have the right to lecture other people about animal cruelty, animal-welfare or anything similar?

Yeah you could, but that's exactly what makes you hypocritical.
You can't eat McDonalds and fight for animal rights without sounding like a hypocrite.
That's the whole point.

That may be true, however McDonalds meat stems from factory farming and mass prooduction which goes hand in hand with animal cruelty.
You can eat as much Big Macs you want and fight for animal rights, but it pure hypocrisy my friend.

buying the factory meat means giving a reward to the people who cruelly cram animals in and slam them through a factory

buying the organic meat means you do care how the animal lives and dies at least a bit more

"free range" is a liar word all they have to do is open one door that all the crammed in chickens could theoretically go out of

"organic" is the true word to look for on label

So is your point that animal abuse is OK? Or is your point that eating meat is animal abuse? Or that the criticism shouldn't be coming from people who buy meat at grocery stores to eat? (AKA there should be less publicity of animal abuse)
