anime with the worst main characters?

im re-watching soul eater and the main characters are garbage
black star is as dumb and super reckless as gotenks vs the true buu

maka and soul cant sync up and blew it on the first mission with the cat soul.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trolled
as if theres episodes before it because no way could they have a character over level in the first episode and didnt matter at all

the father is a bigger hopeless loser than goku

and death the kid is a freak

why are these characters written so ♥♥♥♥♥♥?

Eh, Saitama is on a league of his own, and Monkey D. Luffy has a surprising amount of maturity in his personality. Both kinda subvert the naive and reckless main character you usually get in shonen anime/manga.

So unique?.... because that's how the writer wrote them to be unique... I liked Soul Eater

That's the great thing about Anime... if you don't like one there's hundreds of thousands of others to watch that you might like...

Goku from DB is worst main character. Sure dude saves Earth whatnot, but he is the one brings upon all that mostly. He is such a battle freak that he put Earth and people around him at risk for it. As a husband, he don't even bring financial assistance to the family but just go around fight without any reward. Poor Chichi.

Anime as a whole except for some exemptions are all poorly written and not at all based in real character development. Become more grounded and realistic and abandon your foolish pursuit in things meaningless and imaginary.

Well I'm watching an anime right now called The Seven Deadly Sins and the main character Meliodas is literally a sexual predator, he sexually harrasses the main female character constantly I remember one scene where he was touching her butt without consent and then she said "did it suddenly get cold in here?" and he somehow took her underpants off and was.. doing stuff with them. Like I enjoy the show otherwise but it's kinda just too much. He does end up in a relationship with her eventually but it's still not ok and why I don't like his character.

That show doesn't try to warn people of the consequences of sinning. It tries to glorify it. The show is made for ignorant people who don't know better. But fear not. All your past sins can be forgiven once you discover the truth. Sinning after you know the truth on the other hand will be counted against you on the day of judgement.

My Hero Academia has a really interesting premise, a really interesting main character gimmick (being the most powerful, at the cost of being a massive glass cannon)

So what's the problem here? The main character is annoying as sh*t and gets over his power's downside almost immediately by just spreading it across his body or something. The one (1) thing that actually made him interesting to watch, was solved like a season and a half into the run.
Outstanding writing.

So now you're just left with a character who if he isn't having a flashback to 3 episodes ago, is probably on the floor crying. Outstanding.

Maybe he gets better later on, but I don't know. I stopped around season 3 because I just couldn't tolerate it anymore.
