I absolutely love long-haired breeds. I think they’re just the most beautiful and majestic looking cats out there.

For this one in particular, I love the slanted eyes and the tufts of fur along the tips of the ears. And also that big, fluffy, feather-duster of a tail.

Norwegian forest cat

Similar to the previous one, this breed also has that same sort of bushy tail. Not as slender in appearance, given the extremely thick coat of fur, but that just makes it look more welcoming to hold.

I also really like tortoiseshells, especially the ones with much larger splotches of color like this one. I believe tortoiseshell is a coat pattern and not a specific breed of cat.

I don’t know if I necessarily like the breed, or just the way that it looks when you’ve bathed it. She just looks hilarious with all of her fur soaked through with water. And you can tell how much of her is fur by how small she becomes.

Ironically, Persians are apparently one of the most calm breeds of cats out there, despite their angry looking appearance.
