The environment you live in has huge impact to your diet. Take Japan for instance, they eat enough salt to kill an elephant but they get away with it because their environment is extremely humid most of the year making use of that extra salt instead of killing them with high blood pressure and heart diseases like people who eat a lot of salt in countries with normal humidity.
Who says salt causes high blood pressure and heart disease?

Your doctor.

tbh meat really does have all the vitamins and minerals especially organs like liver, pancreas, and hearts.
Plus some tissues / meats.

the issue nowadays is that most meat is mostly fats sugars and oils since they pump up animals to make them grow more and grow large faster with less feeding expenses. Specifically corn soybeans and recycling food to make "cakes" to feed to cows pigs etc from leftover foods food places throw away (mostly fats and stuff)

but pure grass fed and browsing / grazing animals like goats cows pigs etc fed naturally will always meat (pun intended) your nutritional needs.

though i love meat (texan) i gotta say too much meat is the same ♥♥♥♥ as too much veggies

you gotta balance it out.

i love a nice steak or bbq but it has to be paired with a nice side of brown rice mashed potatoes corn beans avocados etc. To give it a nicer taste and honestly eating too too much meat makes you heavier and you gotta work out like crazy to burn off extra calories. Plus ♥♥♥♥ when i do stuff like go to the movies i'd rather enjoy some popcorn with chocolate candies vs a pizza or chicken tenders. All of which are way ovepriced.

This ♥♥♥♥ had been known for millennium. The Chinese and the Mongols were evident enough. Mongols had a heavy meat/protein and dairy diet which made them strong and healthy compared to the grain and carb heavy diet of the Chinese which stunted their growth and left them weak.

Hell, this was even the case in Europe with serfs and peasants.

Just eat a balanced diet like a normal person

No need to eat meat, chew bones, and drink blood or whatever it is people do on the carnivore diet besides drinking normal fluids

Because they all sound absolutely ridiculous

Exactly. Humans are omnivores. Although we definitely lean more towards herbivores than carnivores.

I'm a gamer™ so my diet consists of pizza, doritos and mountain dew. I can bench press a 6 pack of cokey cola no problem. Gamer diet FTW

or if you're on a high-protein low carb diet
if you go keto or carni, drink water like your life depends on it.
I've seen a few people hospitalized from drinking too much water. It's easy to do, it's often dismissed by people around you, and it can kill you. And no, this isn't some drowning joke.

Don't listen to this person.
you're going to be hospitalized for impacted stool then but hey you do you

That is pretty much the Keto diet and yes, it works.

Cut down the level of carbs and sugars (including from drinks, such as fruit juice, alcohol, and soda, etc). You also want to increase your protein, fibre, fats (healthy, non-saturated fats) and water intake.

Then at least go for a daily walk or exercise.

Your body naturally likes sugars as it's priority energy source and will use that first if available or start breaking down carbs to use instead. Once it's out of those, it will break down the fat storage reverses to be used as energy. So by having low levels of carbs and sugars, even basic walking exercises will start to burn off the fat. Your body enters a state of ketogenic.

However, notice that the blood acid level will increase too. You should test your levels of ketones and keep it at a level of 0.5 – 3.0 millimoles per liter of blood. You can test that the same way as testing your blood alcohol levels with a blood strip or breath test, etc.

For the American diet, it was the soda industry which created the myth, fat creates fat, rather than the sugar in their drinks. Then attempted to create diet drinks, which are even worst. Ever wonder why there's a ton of different versions, such as Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Coke No Sugar, and Coke Life, etc.

Keto diet is super unhealthy.

I digged into it and its a good thing to do for a certain period of time, but thats about it. If you do this permanently, you end up with high acid levels in your blood, high uric acids caused by all the purines in the meat. So to speak, extremely high levels of ketones and blood acidity.

Your digestion will not function properly due to the lack of fiber and the iron levels in your blood will perhaps spike (more common to happen in white males) and destroy your organs in the long run.

Then the cholersterol aspect such as LDL cholesterol (the "bad" cholesterol). This elevation in LDL cholesterol may raise the risk of cardiovascular diseases in the long term.

Some people experience side effects when starting the keto diet, often referred to as the "keto flu." Symptoms may include fatigue, dizziness, nausea, irritability, and difficulty concentrating

Did I mention that when I started doing keto ages ago, the doc checked my blood and noticed that my iron levels are sky high and my uric acids are also way too high ?

Don't get me wrong. Each their own, do whatever you want. But There is a hell a lot more solid scientific proof as well as living examples of people who live a lot healthier and longer living on a " pescetarian diet ". Means they eat no meat, but a balanced vegetarian diet and once or twice a week, small portions of fish or seafood. Apparently this is even healthier than a plain veggie diet.

I am doing this and I feel a million times better. It took only 3 days to feel significantly better when switching to a mostly vegetarian diet (yes, this also includes eggs and some cheese) and eat fish like once a week. I lost weight, I feel more calm, light, no acid reflux anymore and my skin has improved as well.

Researching the proper diet is extremely tiring as there are so many controversial information on everything, especially the Keto diet. You have people who swear on keto and apparently live the healthiest lfie ever and you have people and scientists who prove the exact opposite. I guess one has to figure out for himself what is the best.

I personally believe in my ancestors. Most of the time, humans did NOT heavily rely on meat but vegetables such as root vegetables, legumes, green leafy stuff as well as eggs they gathered and fish they caught from time to time. Meat was rare during MOST periods of human evolution, only a very early period proves that meat was predominantly consumed and this was not even by " ♥♥♥♥ sapiens " but by " ♥♥♥♥ erectus ".

PS: Did you know that our organs and body is designed to store everything that meat gives us (such as Iron) for many years? Which also proves that we are designed to consume meat only rarely, while veggies daily.

careful of damaging kidneys with high protein

moderation in everything tried keto too much fats for my body to handle so stopped and modified to veggie fruit meat low-mod fat but keto really works fast and good if you treat it like a month long session

Same experience. The best diet is the diet you can use until you get old. Which is a balanced vegetarian diet with fish and perhaps meat components on some rare occassions.
LDL is a lie. It’s a trick.

Read book called Stay Off My Operating Table by world renown heart surgeon.

Nowhere in history did we mostly eat plants and roots. Plants and roots just make you short and weak like North Korean.

There is a reason why a vegan or vegetarian will never ever win one of those survival shows like Alone etc etc.
