What are we ?, 1930's soviet union or something wanting to ban books... this debate shouldn't even exist in a free country.
So true & well said Ganger as it is happening right under our noses & the worst part is that we are meant to be free & liberal WTF.
Who is dictating these terms? GOVERNMENT or CORPORATIONS, maybe a combination of both as it only shows that public representation of politics doesn't really matter as it is being hijacked by private corporations.

An educational program discusses art, and mentions Michelangelo's Statue of David, but wouldn't show it, despite showing countless other works of art.
I mean, legendary statue made by one of the greatest artists of all time, but no, can't teach children about it, or show it.
Heck, why don't we just go ahead and pulverize it into gravel, then?
(While they're into it, just go ahead and burn Botticelli's Birth of Venus. And paint over the Sistine Chapel's ceiling.
Who cares about art, culture, or history?)

1984 being banned? Sounds about right.
Kinda reminds me of a joke MAD magazine did about the post-9/11 era, when everyone was super paranoid.
A library sign that read:
"Library patrons checking out such controversial literature as 1984 may be subject to invasive searches disturbingly similar to the ones featured in chapter four."
Lets be honest here, its not that, its vulgar cartoons pushed on children, nothing as elevated as Michelangelo, high art is the enemy of this agenda as they are against beauty and excellence, what is being banned is tumblr grade art of deviance.
and 1984, just boomer required reading list since boomer times, not even close to being banned.
Nudity does not make the FCC or Sponsors happy.
You play right into the hands of the neo libs with this ♥♥♥♥. The red scare.
