You defended your statement by doing this:
This was disingenuous of you, kbiz. I wrote nothing that amounts to trying to persuade people to like or dislike RCP. I stated that RCP was conservative media. I then wrote 2 comments linking to a wiki about the facts, and actions of RCPolitics media and demonstrated my claim.
RCP media group is conservative media, regardless of whether they aggregate articles. I don't understand why you have a hard time admitting to the facts. Off Topic is reactionary and right wing, and I know from experience that posting anything that differs from that either gets lost in the noise, or jester awarded, or I get countless comments where people ask me bad faith questions like, "WHAT DOES 'CONSERVATIVE' EVEN MEAN? ARE WORDS REALLY WHAT THEY MEAN, OR IS THE OVERTON WINDOW SKEWING YOUR REALITY?"
I have no issues with your desire to stay in your conservative echo chamber, kbiz. You do you.
If you live in the US, the reason you must unfortunately pick a side is due to our two party system. Most of us don't 100% agree with the Democrats or the Republicans, and nobody is going to 100% agree with everything a single candidate believes in. Stick to your convictions though, follow what you believe in and the change you want to see, and register/vote accordingly.
For example, I'm a registered Democrat. There are a ton of issues on this platform I disagree with, but most of those issues don't actually matter that much. (Though they do generate a lot of clicks, so that's what the media tends to focus on.) Plenty of my fellow Democrats of a more far-left persuasion would be quick to label me as some kind of horrible bigoted Nazi. However, I believe the very richest of us should be taxed more. I believe the government can do good. I believe we should go to a real single-payer healthcare system like the rest of the developed world. None of that could ever happen under Republicans, so I vote Democrat.
And I disagree with you. I think RCP is as neutral as it comes. And I invite everyone to check it and see for themselves. Zero chance you'll walk out of there without seeing the bias. RCP is kind like the fulcrum under the left and right. Why? Because it shows both the left bias -and- the right bias.
I thought it was disingenuous of you to deviate from RCP. I don't want to talk about labels. Too broad a topic.
Anyway, if anyone knows what is more neutral than RCP, let OT know.

Take a look for yourself. And you'll see the news sources to the right of the articles. Soon you'll be able to see the leaning (the bias) of every news source.
Authoritarian governments aren't on a left-right spectrum. If you think plutocrats and oligarchs are uniquely left, I've got a bridge to sell you.
What Is the Political Bias of RealClearPolitics?
The Factual classifies news sites by political bias as either Left, Moderate Left, Center, Moderate Right, or Right. This classification is derived from third-party assessments from media bias organizations such as AllSides and Media Bias/Fact Check. Based on this data, The Factual assigns RCP a Moderate Right bias.

Here is what you're focusing on:
AllSides (a media-bias determiner website) helps capture how sites like RCP can encapsulate a range of political bias. AllSides notes that while the external articles featured on RCP’s homepage are very balanced, featuring roughly equal numbers of right and left perspectives, the section of the website for RCP articles has a conservative bias.

Overall, RCP is conservative.
Fine, let's assume it's conservative. I don't agree with your evidence, but so? There are still articles from both sides on RCP. There is no denying it. Look right now. Right meow.
What is more fair than presenting articles from both sides? By the way, there is a whole plethora of impartial info about elections and current polls (why are there always so many polls? Heh). You can also easily see videos of the principal actors talking so you can hear their actual words and don't have to listen to the media's interpretation of them. That seems good to me. No?
What is more revealing than seeing what each side stresses and what each side forgets to talk about?
There is manipulation going in in politics, Holografix. Just go see for yourself on RCP. Or even google it.
If you don't know what to think in politics, they'll tell you - with a smile. Please, just don't get your news from one source. Diversity is good.
Anyway, for what it's worth, I think RealClearPolitics is the best political site out there. Prove me wrong.
And yet they have some very legitimate points. People don't want to believe it- but bias is a very real thing.
Sure, it is not perfect, and in my opinion they could do some fine-tuning. They still are doing perhaps the best job of what they do out there at the moment.
It is a service that for the most part identifies what is behind news sources.
Often times the real motivation is the bias of the owners and sponsors and for the most part simply defining something as "liberal/moderate/conservative" might be a bit simplistic.
Many things these things are self-serving and a cover for the true intentions.
A good example is the pollution industry cannot look good by claiming the benefits of polluting us all to death. They have to pay for opinions that decry "regulation" and promote "freedom."
Look at it this way(from all sides) and things will make more sense.
Yes, what is the most fair political site? Yeah, it's RCP.
People are allowed to feel, interpret, analyze, prioritize - and reflect our varied perspectives. But we all have a stake in this game, people. We are not enemies. Hopefully, our goal will be to keep the United States (and others) prosperous - while addressing the political issues of the time.
Politics has become too hateful. One side is not good and one side is not evil. The other side is gonna destroy the world! Screech! No, it's a question of the best way forward. A civil debate. And then the majority rules. And the minority deals with the massive injustice. Heh.
What is fair?
