Well in my case I would go to do my part in defending the country, let it be officially or not (even if they don't allow it due to criminal history and such, gotta sneak into the lines.)
The strongest motive for me is not being able to live with myself in peace if I don't go, since after the war ends and I stay alive, I'll keep seeing myself as a coward, or think I could save at-least one person but didn't; That kind of life is maddening and unworthy for some.
When enemies are invading country soil, that's not really them tricking me into going into front. It's just common sense to defend, like defending your home from armed thieves and such.
lmao I could never understand that. But if my country is invading another and they try to grab me for it, then that's the logic I'll definitely use.
