Not saying this to be edgy they actually are and I've eaten them.
Once Earth runs out of resources to keep us alive, you can bet that there'll be no food.. And therefore no people.
It is a crime punishable by bug death, to taint our high calorie food. Think of the mayonnaise, think of the mayonnaise, 60% of the human brain is fat, fat is good.
Did something change? We always heard it lacks the mass so it'll end up a white dwarf.
Yeah, they're great when fried. Can also be ground into flour and mixed with other products, increasing the protein content of say, bread.
Insects and different types of mushrooms as well as edible algae are all easy to raise. They give yields fast, require little space and are nutritious. Then we have vertical farming and hydroponics too.
All of those production systems mean that it would take some serious catastrophes for us to run out of ways to produce more food. Even if the soil becomes too acidic or barren etc. meaning you can't farm outdoors and won't have fields for cattle etc. to graze, you'd still be able to produce plenty of food indoors 24/7.
O.k. China...
It's not bad... I mean... it's a mindset for sure, but it shouldn't have to be an last resort
Nor should it be a fear tactic..
So have I... I wouldn't call them "delicious" though...
More like... "crunchy tofu"
🙃
