I don't think it is the pad that is the issue here :P
Or use the dishwasher, the next time you sanitize your keyboard.
Not only it completely removes the need to clean your mouse after some time, but also absorbs the sweat and so all your mouse pad and mouse can get is dust..
It may feel uncomfortable at first, but once you get used to it.. It pays off, I'd say.
I wouldn't recommend wearing gloves for keyboard as you may lose the touch and start making a lot of typos because of that, while that shouldn't be the case when it comes to your mouse.
Well I try, not that it not happens.
Thanks i´ll Try it and see if it works
Ragged old REI cycling gloves that keeps sweat residue off the controllers and arcade stick, and keeps the paws warm in winter without effecting dexterity.
Though it was pretty difficult finding gloves that fit bear paws in the first place, I can tell you.

Can you clean a mouse pad?
For bare plastic, pretty much any cleaner will do. Plain dish soap would be safest, if you're worried about solvents degrading it.
That's "washing up liquid" for Brits.
