PS1 Games ( HIDDEN GEMS )
Obviously not Final Fantasy, Xenogears, Threads Of Fate ect lol

Just decent games that didn't make a big splash or any splash; worth seeking out.

Well, Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor Underground did indeed make a splash. It was Spielbergs Dreamworks Interactive that started them. But they are old, and if you never heard of those games, two of my all time favorites.

Another lesser known game, Panzer Front, a tank sim game at the time. Another under the radar great game.

The Legend of Legia is good if you liked Final Fantasy.
Messaggio originale di Fried Brains:
The Legend of Legia is good if you liked Final Fantasy.

And there was even a PS2 Sequel!

But imo that was still a fairly talked about game.

I mean those titles that almost EVERYBODY slept on like Super Cheerio Man. ( just making that up. )

I've scoured You Tube but it's usually the same stuff...
Never heard of Jinx.

What kind of game was it?
G Police (Was also on PC).
Kingsfield 1, kingsfield 2

Azure dreams

Legend of Legaia
Interesting.

I'm particularly interested in platformers.
The Deception games. You are the villain and you have to kill adventures trying to get into your treasure troves. And some of the good guys you take care of have incredibly sad story once you've done murdering everyone.

Wild arms 1 and 2. A pseudo science fiction game with magic and swords and your main character who has a huge variety of devastating weapons.

I got a lot more but I thinking about sleep more than video games.
I consider Wild Arms fairly well known.

I played one called Koudelka that was pretty sweet. Also VERY VERY expensive.
Let's see... Most of my favorites are well on the beaten path (MGS, Mega Man, Tony Hawk, FF, Driver, Crash, Spyro, Medal of Honor), but here are a couple I don't hear a lot of talk about:

Frogger was incred. Not Frogger 2. That one sucked. Frogger. It's a remake of the original sensation, but expanded like you wouldn't believe. You have a couple of new moves which are actually fun and add a lot to the game, and tons of new levels with different themes.

Muppet Racemania is a good kart racer for when you've played CTR to death and want something new. CTR is a better game overall, but MRM had a good assortment of additional modes that helped keep things fresh.

Ape Escape. Does this count as hidden? I feel like it shouldn't but it seems this whole series is looooong forgotten despite having a place in history for its use of dual stick control. Anyway, it rules.

Crash Bash. It was not favorably received, as it was a clear Mario Party knockoff, but it had its own style to it that made it worth playing if you ask me. You had a smaller number of core minigames, but some of these were deeper than what you see in Mario Party, and they all had several variations.

Silent Bomber was incredibly rad but I very rarely see anyone talk about it. Great gameplay, great sound and visuals for the era... plot is... uh, Japan, but we can ignore that. It had some really innovative ideas and great boss battles. I remember it very fondly.
Revelations: Persona and Wild Arms are my favorite PlayStation 1 games, although I'm not sure how popular they are.
Diablo for PS1 is great. I love the controller controls outside of inventory management.
I'm not really into PS1 games, so I don't know that many.
But I think Ace Combat 3 has very good graphics, good gameplay and a decent story. However, the Western release was a bodge job with most of the interesting content cut and thus was poorly received.
