that's it. the rest is youtube.
when I go on twitch unless it's past midnight I usually have at least 5 or 6 channel that I follow which are online.
I even watched a few developers/designers who have their games on steam stream on twitch including the one that made Freedom Planet one and 2.
https://dotesports.com/streaming/news/why-are-so-many-streamers-leaving-twitch-explained
kick offers a 95-5 revenue share. its backed by a gambling site though so i wouldn't hit Kick tbh.
youtubes just fine for now for me.
Sometimes I'm big on Twitch... sometimes I'm not on for weeks...
I was on more when we were running our Twitch channel... now we're not I'm not on so much... eventually I'll probable head back there.
It's kind of like being on Crunchyroll... I get back, I burn out, I go way, I get back....
amazon has drawn criticism from multiple sources, with questions raised about the ethics of the company's business practices and policies. amazon has faced numerous allegations of anti-competitive or monopolistic behavior and criticisms of their treatment of workers and consumers.
i guess you just have to choose the lesser evil. to me theres no difference.
except on twitch you can get banned more easily.
honestly i think Kick is way better. every new policy or change on twitch lately has been a massive L and nobody asked for them. they're super disconnected from their streamers.
definitely. if i had points i had to give a wholesome reward now. i agree to this 100%
amazon specially, oh boy. that company. specially the way its workers are treated, even worse than consumers tbh. it will always be the lesser evil im afraid.
same goes for youtube ofc dont let that out of the picture, criticize it as well.
its algorithm, the fact its owned by google. but for now the whole scenery on streaming services is twitch, kick, youtube. that's it. youtube wants to turn streamers into more old school video content providers, kick is backed by a gambling site and twitch by amazon. the lesser evil truly.
Are you going to make a post for every website that eventually falls out of favour with the public.
Its a good thing creators of such websites are realising taking personal data aint paying the bills, that why should people massively profit off the backs of others without giving something financially back. Its starting to happen everywhere and its a good thing as it will bring people back to planet earth.
ImMarksman is still alive and kickin' on both platforms. His viewership went down a bit because CoD sucks but that's not his fault, mostly.
YouTube and Twitch are not dead...
You just did not find anything you like or you are too strict with it
i just don't get some people (not you) who put themselves on a moral high ground by siding with twitch because kick is backed by a gambling site. you see gambling is not banned on twitch either, their only concern is that if its ''unregulated gambling'', then its not okay.. but in the end it still is gambling how ever you want to look at it.
people just always tend to look at kick with a stink eye because of the gambling.
in my opinion gambling is bad no matter if its regulated or not. you have children watching/using your service. and don't get me started on the cam girls and softcore porn that is also allowed.
i think they're just hypocrites over there on twitch. they do the same exact sht they do on kick.
on top of all that they don't treat people equally. bigger streamers can get banned for 10+ times but they'll never get a permanent one while smaller streamers can get perma'd in just 1-3 strikes. i guess its just all about money...
Kick is nothing better then Twitch, they are still dancing at the tune of Google and Apple.
