is twitch dead for anyone else?
i hardly watch all the channels on youtube and some from youtube are on twitch and 98% are never active over there and both will have dead channels, how can a channel have subs where there us no activity at all?

yeah sadly theres no healthy competition in this space, its just all tyrants and you have to pick a poison that hurts the least..

i just don't get some people (not you) who put themselves on a moral high ground by siding with twitch because kick is backed by a gambling site. you see gambling is not banned on twitch either, their only concern is that if its ''unregulated gambling'', then its not okay.. but in the end it still is gambling how ever you want to look at it.

people just always tend to look at kick with a stink eye because of the gambling.

in my opinion gambling is bad no matter if its regulated or not. you have children watching/using your service. and don't get me started on the cam girls and softcore porn that is also allowed.

i think they're just hypocrites over there on twitch. they do the same exact sht they do on kick.

on top of all that they don't treat people equally. bigger streamers can get banned for 10+ times but they'll never get a permanent one while smaller streamers can get perma'd in just 1-3 strikes. i guess its just all about money...

yep. as if Amazon is the Mother Tereza and whatnot. it is not its capitalism.
same goes for youtube. if its gonna profit them they will allow it. and ofcourse double rules depending on the revenue you provide for the site. they could have an 18+ section but i dont see that either.
thats why i stick to youtube. i mean i know its google and we all know what that means, at least i already have a channel there so no need for extra accounts, just saves me a new password etc tbh.
I don't watch twitch much, but I've never watched twitch much, it takes a lot for me to actually get into a streamer, and hang around. I'd rather throw on a youtube playlist I've watched a few times already than watch a streamer go AFK for 20 - 30 min.
Imagine watching twitch...
I never understood what Twitch really was and didn't bother to look it up.

When you see someone with Twitch TV attached to their gamertag in a FPS match like COD does that mean they have a channel or something and are broadcasting the game as they play?
Twitch is still relevant? I never actually bothered to use it in any way. In fact I don't even know how it looks... It's an internet site or something?

yep, provided they warned the game that they will be shown in the stream as well
Not dead but a couple of the streamers I watch have been dipping their toes into Kick.

99% of them never stream a single time. They usually stream snipe though.

Dysfunction had a girl do this yesterday. She posted in his chat saying she wasn't stream sniping and people should stop accusing her of doing so. The only problem was, only the chat was talking about her stream sniping during her match and she could only know this was being talked about if she had his stream open during the match.

Common tactic for cheating without hardware/software.

Thank you. That's a great explanation/example.

CoD streamers deal with this far more than any other franchise. It's just life as a CoD streamer.

lots of them. a form of protest kinda.
50-50 revenue then with marches and pressure went to 70-30.
