When people say - follow Freeman's "stop talking about racism" they don't mean that you should just shut up and never talk about race while others do. They mean that you should stop those people who push for affirmative action and other types of race agenda. They are the one who must stop talking about racism.
Systemic racism can only exist if there is a system in place to support it. That's in the name.
I think SHAME is something that very much needs to make a greater comeback, we already see it, that's what racism/or the phobia's are, an attempt to "shame" people for wrong-think.
There is also a question - whom do you actually invite then? Because every time some leftist (no matter who - YouTuber, politician, or even professor of some university) owned in a debate, other leftists start saying "This one doesn't represent our views".
They would get kicked in the nuts more likely. The whole point of all "virtue signallers" is that they claim to fight against the rich and powerful but in reality they are serving them for favors.
For sure. We've already seen a bunch of people, especially on the left, getting trashed by what they believed was their own side for only minor differences in over all beliefs.
Agree..
When spite is their only thing they agree on.. they turn on each other for the slightest things.
I mean seriously, who really gives a fat flying ♥♥♥♥ what other people call others. While the hypocrisy of how the ideology pushed upon people is staggering.
And I can't help but think that the entire movement would be more legit if it wasn't for all the over-the-top needy attention seekers that it has created.
Perhaps people don't understand the irony?
I'm mostly using it to mock Elon Musk claiming "Free Speech" by allowing hate speech towards the LGBTQ and transgenders on his "Y" platform or whatever it's called now. Yet he seriously got upset and raged, banning accounts for merely saying the word "Cisgender" which he assumed was worst than the n-word other white people were spewing out which he also allowed.
The word "Cisgender" actually has a meaning (The prefix cis- is Latin and means on this side of and it's even used as a sciences term), but he had thrown assumption, emotional value and censorship upon it. I personally find that illogical and stupid funny.
I enjoy mocking scammers, who are equally stupid and rage just as much, using their own hatred/greed/blindsightedness against them. I guess I get it from my scam-baiting hobby enjoyment too much? Emotionally it doesn't even affect me, rather others, but the very little effort it takes me has them going out the full mile and they hate upon what they do themselves.
""Free Speech"" doesn't mean what people say are safe from repercussion from private entities. It merely protects what is said from governmental retribution. A better understanding of this might provide you with better context to form your opinions of that situation.
The irony in your crusade is your blatant racism in this very comment.
I'm not the one making the "Free Speech" claim though? Nor am I being racist/sexist or whatever. I'm merely mocking and pointing out what you pretty much explained. It goes both ways and tends to be biasly blindsided.
