Why are some people hateful towards Christians?
They are people that micromanage their lives to live a decent life free of sin, violence, theft, murder, etc.

That is a lot of self policing and hard work for the good of society and one's self, yet there are people who actively mock them and try to get rid of their churches which teaches only decency and a good life rid of crime.

If you want a good and strong house, you need to force the bricks real tight to each-other and don't let them be lose. Same goes for A LOT of other things in life, including personal life; More you manage it, have better values, restrict yourself from the bad, and be aware of it, the better it is.

So this idea to get rid of everything that slightly opposes freedom of any kind is a wrong idea, even the freedom itself needs a restricting law on a piece of paper to protect it!

Have nothing against Christians. In fact, they make up 89% of the entire worlds charities, build schools, homeless shelters and the works.

Christians have no idea about actual dates and times, due to there not even being a calendar back in the days of Christ, so they go about replacing all the Pagan dates instead for our new more positive holidays. Christmas was originally the darkness day of the year. Same deal with Easter, etc.

It's just certain individuals who use Christianity as a justification for someone entirely against the Christian morals and ethics, based upon their own assumptions, corruption and/or greed. They also tend to try use it as a way to control others, tax evade and perform acts with followers not questioning as much as they should.

Cults such as Trump MAGA and Destiny Church, etc, can pose as Christian all they want holding a bible upsidedown, but I will still see right through them. Even hate groups such as the Proud Boys use religious symbols including Christianity as their scapegoat reason of illogical justification. White nationalists across the U.S. are using Christian symbols to spread a message of hate and violence. Putin even poses as Christian, etc.

It's like really? Do Christians just follow you blindly due to your claims which goes against Christian teachings.

Stamping "In God We Trust" on money too.

It's like, who you really trying to fool, yourselves?

Not all religious people are friendly. Also, just because you are religious doesn't mean you are friendly.

In my experience, I have met many Christians who are not good people.

I am not saying that all Christians are bad, I am just saying that not all Christians are good.
i agree entirely, there are people who are christian who are bad, but the ones ive met personally have been nice :steamhappy:

Personally, I'm most disturbed by the aggressive missionaries who presume to dictate to others how they should live. It's about power and domination. The worst are those who present themselves as victims. They should not be surprised if one is harshly rejected.

Good thing our brave ancestors ditched them once and for all time. ,-)

I think there is a reason for their dictation, even tho they are aware a single person practicing something they don't see fit isn't going to harm anything, they also know that little by little, these small practices and wrong believes can lead into a big scale cultural change; Just like how a small flame continues to consume miles away from where it started.

Now they have faith, that some things are especially wrong, and they thought about it a lot as their beliefs get challenged everyday, so with that faith about what's wrong, they proceed to prevent it, and in this process even the dictated benefit in long term.

People always find restrictions, laws and elimination of certain freedoms against society or humanity, but if you look carefully, we're just cherry-picking by doing that, as we already have bulky books of law, tons of restrictions on how to live and behave, and even the ones promoting ultimate freedom follow and create laws.

Now why some get angry at some specific restrictions? it has to do with how much they love doing that specific thing that is being restricted, and I don't think it has anything to do with the concept of freedom.

Some cultures had to be destroyed, as they were practicing human sacrificing ceremonies, skin dancing, etc. I don't see anything wrong with reforming cultures. (At the current date, it's not as severe as it was in the past tribal times.)

Yes, it may be somehow showing "being modern and advanced, because we insult old ideas". Which is the topic of my thread. It's not about hating a single individual that is Christian, it's about hating Christians as a community, or mocking them and their ways, that is the topic.

In addition, there are states that base their legitimacy on God's will. A highly problematic legitimation, if one considers that God represents a fiction.

Welcome to the 21st century!

In a society where one can identify as a cat, why God has to be the fiction?

Unfortunately nothing is going to bring back destroyed cultural landmarks that you destroyed, centuries old Slavic heritage sites, scripts, myths, everything have been destroyed by you, luckily we have agreed on a wider level that such things should be preserved now.

In their times, it wasn't heritage, myths or historic sites, it was just a present time building / thing. For example if someone makes an Anarchy statue (or anything that promotes crime) and puts it in middle of street, ofc they are going to remove it since it's seen as anti-society.

Damn what an insult to injury. This wasn't an anti-society symbol or promoting crime, this is the life and culture that my ancestors wanted to preserve, which unfortunately will never be shared thousands of years into the future because of you.

I don't think anarchism is anti-society at all.
