Listen. I have family in Ukraine and while for you this might be some sort of football game, you decided to choose your favourite team in, for some of us its actually about real human lives.
And no, the WORST outcome is if Ukraine keeps losing more and more and more of their population, get dispersed and spread more across the globe, while Russia is annexing the ENTIRE country and turns it into a puppet state of Russia, isolating Ukraine for the next 100s of years or so.
THAT is the worst outcome.
I also wish Ukraine could drive back Russia and liberate its lost territory, but there is also no denial that the regions Russia captured, are statistically indeed more pro-Russian and always have been and most Ukrainians right now, are asking themselves if its even worth fighting over it.
Obviously you are not capable to see it this way as you are sitting in your comfy home, probably in some safe far away western country, while you are routing for " your team ".
This is war! Not a game, this is about real lives and a real culture and someones home.
I am fed up with hearing this fanatic nonsense, you can't even imagine what my family there and I myself lost due to this war and I also profit big time by Ukraine winning, not only financially but also emotionally. Yet, I say enough is enough.
If Ukraine and Russia come to a peace deal, then this is the " best " outcome that can happen right now as Ukraine unfortunately, is currently not in the position to make any demands due to slowly getting pushed back.
And while I agree with your strategic thinking, that if NATO would put boots on the ground, they could turn the war, I also am a realist and know that this would get A LOT more people killed than any other way, plus you would be thrown in a trench and not sit here writing your heroic comments, you would have to cope real quick.
Russia doesn't really have much to brag about in WWII. They were fools who sided with the enemy at first, Got themselves whipped in the winter war. Had to be saved by the U.S, Killed their own people to force them to fight, Then r@ped and burned anyone who wasn't them. There's some pretty gruesome accounts from the ending of the war about Soviet soldiers and what they did to the women they found. Absolute barbarians. Patton was right about Russia.
Imagine fleeing like the Americans in Afganisthan. Imagine running away from the Vietnamese, imagine needing 9 months with the help of the whole of Europe to face a country as weak as Iraq to take one of its cities.
Strongest army? As if. Third. The US military tops Russia and China in all metrics outside of raw number of soldiers, which China can claim over the US. If there was a ground war, China would kick the ♥♥♥♥ out of Russia, and the US's technical superiority would kick the ♥♥♥♥ out of China. I'll say Russia is probably Europe's strongest military.
Strong, experienced warriors.
US soldiers who mostly know how to fight sandal-wearing villagers armed with Ak47s. Faced against Russia, you're finished, a power that has what it takes to defend itself, all your wars have always been waged with the use of mass bombing from afar, destroying everything that moves, especially civilians, your tactics won't work against a power like Russia, which is why you'll never do anything against Russia, except words and backward sanctions. The world has changed: the USA is no longer the leading power, China is the leading economic power, and Russia is the leading military power, despite your denials.
A reminder of US military power :

you just listed all of the world's paper tigers minus uk and france.
Do you think Russia has experience against any trained military of any size or substance? The largest war to date is Ukraine. They're not much different than Afghanis or Iraqis, and they're also largely carrying AKs too. They were no more technologically advanced than Iraq was.
And yeah, the US can take out all your airfields, power grid, most your tanks, and communications in a matter of days with "mass bombing from afar." That's the whole point of technological superiority. We can send you back to the stone age before a single boot has to touch your soil.
Ukraine had the most powerful army in Europe, as a reminder, trained by NATO, armed, equipped, huge financial support, tanks from the West and the United States, fighter planes, missiles, electronic equipment, drones, air defense systems, intel, satellites, Starlink, "mercenaries", basically everything, and they still lose, the USA is totally powerless against this, that's why Trump is right to abandon Ukraine.
You can't lie and say that Ukraine is like Iraq when even Trump, military specialists, journalists, the world admits that the Ukraine vs Russia war is a war between 2 armies with modern equipment, hence the new innovations with drones and others.
Stop living a lie, Yes the USA is no longer the leading power, with Trump maybe things will improve a little but you will no longer return to first place, the world has changed and either you change or you will rot like the old empires of yesteryear
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ukraine had the most powerful army in Europe. Ukraine's military was still made up of primarily 70's and 80's tech.
Ukrainian forces were trained by NATO, they built powerful fortifications for years after the Minsk Agreements. Merkel and former French President Hollande even admitted that the Minsk Agreements were a trap for the Russians so that they would have more time to prepare and arm Ukraine, that's why the Ukrainians held out so long against the Russians in the Donbass, because of the years of fortifications and the NATO-Kiev army...
I hate to break it to you, but NATO wasn't giving Ukraine their best weapons and training. I mean... F-16s? Seriously? Those are from the 1970's.
